Tom Bowling

Lucky for us, Tom has been with Uptown Strings since its very beginning. His amazing ability to play guitar comfortably in many genres makes him a popular choice for local musicians to call for gigs. At the age of 15 he was in the Musicians Union and was afforded the opportunity to play with many older, more experienced musicians who really helped him. He studied jazz composition at OSU, studied with various teachers and is “always learning something new” by seeking out people who can improve his playing.
